PILOBOLUS

Pilobolus is a “rebellious” dance company known the world over for it’s gravity defying, weight-sharing partnering technique and witty physical theater. Marlon has worked with Pilobolus for over a decade. She played principal roles in Pilobolus’ evening length Shadowland works, which fused the athleticism and emotional resonance of live dance theater with the cinematic visuals of shadow theater into a new form of storytelling. Later, Marlon worked full-time with Pilobolus’ touring repertory company, performing classic pieces and creating new work using the company’s unique creative process, leaning heavily on collaboration, improvisation, and emergent group synchronicity.
